The Book Fair will be here beginning on September 28! All proceeds go towards Hazel Park Learning Center.

If you like to sing you’re in luck! Hazel Park UCC choir rehearsal begins September 30, and will be meeting on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. Come, meet our music director, Asako Hirabayashi, and all the great things she has planned for choir this season. See you there!

Save the Date, Mark your calendars! This year’s Pig out - Pork Roast is Saturday, September 29. We are looking for volunteers with food prep, raffle donations, set-up, clean-up, kid’s corner, working the serving line. If you’re interested please see Julie or Rev. Sara in the office.

It’s time to clean out the closets! We are collecting gently used or new adult and children’s coats. Donations will be delivered to Joseph’s Coat in St. Paul. Thank you for your generosity.

The Special offering for the month of September is CUE (Chicago United and Eden Seminaries) CUE supports the students of these seminaries. The CUE regional seminary support program brings together over 2,000 United Church of Christ churches in mid-America in support of our three UCC seminaries of the region. We hope to continue this partnership as it aligns with our mission and vision of our congregation: …embracing and encouraging faith, love, children and community! There are specially marked envelopes in the pews marked….. Thank you for your generous donations!
